The Bears loved the climbing wall and even attempted the hard wall! If you can’t find the bears at the climbing
wall you can find them at the basketball court, they love to dribble!

The Bengals loved making an action packed movie with the awesome Leaders!

The Broncos loved climbing the climbing wall with Pilar. They did a great job cheering on each other!

The Cardinals loved going boating and seeing all of the wildlife in the pond!

The Chargers loved making highflying rockets with the science leader, Kim! The Chiefs enjoyed doing the
Leap-of-Faith, at High Ropes this week. They worked together to keep the kids safe that jumped off!

The Cowboys loved making cards for Rachel, a camper in the group lasts day. They also looked forward
having cake on the rainy Friday.

The Dolphins whole group enjoyed climbing at the climbing wall and at High Ropes! The Eagles enjoyed
climbing the Leap-of-Faith. When some got scared to jump off, the group cheered them on giving them faith
to jump off.

The Falcons enjoyed jumping off of the Leap-of-Faith. For most, it was the first time to do it and they had a
great time cheering each other on!

The Giants enjoyed shooting archery with their counselor Grant. Altogether they got 7 bull-eyes but 4 of those
were Grant’s.

The Jaguars enjoyed dressing up for the different dress codes for the week. They had pajama day, twin day,
and tiara day!

The Panthers enjoyed climbing the climbing wall. Most of them climbed the wall and the rest just enjoyed
watching!

The Patriots enjoyed doing the Peanut Butter Pit. They worked together to get the rope swing to swing over the
pretend “toxic” peanut butter.

The Rams had a lot of fun making a fabulous wanted poster of Steve. They also had an intense game of
street hockey, good thing we are all winners at the YMCA!

The Leaders at camp went back to the good old days of playgrounds and freeze tag! They can’t wait until next
week!  

Since we are winding down at the end of the summer, each swim level is looking forward to have a party with
the other campers.

The campers at Art and Crafts enjoyed playing with string, and working with there hands with clay!

For Bethany at special activity, she enjoyed playing sports with every group. They played soccer, football, and
ultimate Frisbee.

In science, the kids loved making exploding rockets! Kim had some secret ingredients to lift off the rockets!
Shhhh!

Doing the Leap-of-Faith is super fun! We all learned to believe in each other. The campers have been
perfecting their climbing techniques!

In Archery, the leader Matt, put cards on the targets so if anyone hit the cards they would be able to get an
arrow. Only two people hit cards!

We all love Camp Harrington, it’s a BLAST, but unfortunately the summer doesn’t last!



Bears -- Hayley Shore – caring – for always being an awesome friend and buddy for anyone that asks.

Cardinals – responsibility – Abigal West always has her stuff and always helps her friends also.

Chargers – respect – Jacob Shore allowed a fellow camper to paddle at canoeing b/c it was her last day at
camp.

Cowboys – honesty – Gianna Young is the most honest because she cares for everyone and out for the best
interest of the group.

Dolphins - responsibility – Kelsey Kestenbaum always keeps track of all her belongings and is good about
making sure all of the trash from lunch is cleaned up.

Eagles – caring – Erin Cossette because she is always volunteering to help the group and be a bathroom
buddy and also showed particular kindness in helping a fellow camper after she fell.

Falcons are giving the respect award to Madeline Cherniack for always respecting nature and her fellow
campers. Not only does she encourage respectfulness but she is also everyone’s friend.

Giants – honesty – Adlai Saal for always being honest about everything I ask and he knows the right story.

Jaguars – responsibility – Nathan Luong for always picking up trash when asked and even picking up more
trash if asked.

Panthers – caring- Rosalie Elliot for being a kind and caring person towards everyone in the group.

Patriots – respect – Yasmin Kaminsky for always listening to her fellow group mates and counselors.

Rams – the honesty award is for Stephen Baker who speaks his mind truthfully and never lies to his
counselors or his fellow campers just to benefit from it.

Archery
Taylor Adams- caring- tries to help others whenever possible, esp. during archery.
Aidan Phiban- respect- attentive and responsive beyond what is expected esp. during nature.

A&C
Caring : Hailey Moore for making a special craft just for me.
Respect : Matt Army for helping me clean up in the morning.
Ropes – honesty- Will Disenso admitted that he was scared and promised he would climb to the top. After
the fourth try he made it to the top.

Ropes – responsibility – Christine Squeglia put all the harnesses in the ribbon and organized the helmets.

Waterfront awards – caring – Katie McGahie coached Steven Baker so he can improve and become a
minnow.

Waterfront awards – responsibility – Eben Philbin for coming to swim lessons every day regardless of the
weather.

Leaders – responsibility – Sean Zuromsky for helping out a new leader and showing him how to be a leader
and helping him around camp.

Leaders – honesty – Elyssa Williams for admitting to forgetting office duty and then asking to have it for the
next two days.

Special activity – respect – Gena Silverman for always listening and being ready to begin as soon she arrives
at that activity.

Special activity – responsibility – James Bateman for always offering to help out even when he doesn’t want
to play the game.

Science& Drama – caring – Meg Crowley for sharing her water for seltzer rockets even when she didn’t have
science.

Science& Drama – honesty – Yasmin Kaminsky for being helpful and communicating honestly with her
teammate at drama.
