April Vacation Camp
| Looking for a FUN and EXCITING setting for April Vacation! YMCA Camp Harrington will offer Vacation Camp April 21st - 25th (7:30am-6pm daily). Weather dependent children will get a chance to canoe, rock climb, high ropes climb, shoot archery, play games in our field, perform science experiments, build a fort in our lodge, make crafts, play basketball/volleyball, board games, and much more (SEE BELOW FOR A SAMPLING OF THE 2007 DAILY THEMES AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES WE DID EACH DAY). Register by mail Now :-) Fee: 34.00/day (schools out families) 38.00/day (y members and camp families) 48.00/day (others) Ages: K-14yrs Themes by Day and Sample Activities Monday (Camp Spirit) Some special activities on Monday will include: 1) A scavenger hunt 2) A group photo to take home of all the kids in camp on this Day with their names around the border of the picture 3) A Campfire with marshmallows and the story GIZMOFUNKYDUNK 4) A Cooperative Games Festival in the Field Tuesday (Sports) Some special activities on Tuesday will include: 1) Soccer 2) Hockey 3) Modified Volleyball 4) Capture the Flag 5) Bibbs Ball 6) An Olympics Festival in the Field Wednesday (Carnival) Some special activities on Wednesday will include: 1) Face Painting 2) Karaoke & DDR 3) Balloon Animals 4) A Camp Carnival in the Field Thursday (Fun in the Sun!)
