| Dear 1/2 day program Parent/Guardian, Welcome to the YMCA Camp Harrington's 1/2 Day Program in 2010! We are looking forward to providing a safe, fun, enriching recreation program for you child. Like all camp programs offered by the YMCA, the 1/2 day program will offer activities and experiences that foster improved social skills, self-esteem, and sportsmanship. Meanwhile we will fulfill our commitment to the National YMCA's Character Development initiative by focusing on the traits of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Through these values, the Fun Club staff will strive to help each child grow personally, develop skills and knowledge in sports, nature and the arts, improve personal and family relationships, become better leaders and supporters, appreciate diversity and have fun in a safe environment.
