
Robert Anderson has been a camper and then leader at Camp Harrington for about 8 years. He
will be a sophomore at Auburn High School in the fall and plays soccer and basketball for the
high school. He also enjoys music and hanging out with friends.
Tomas Angarmo does many activities in and out of school. He does cross-country, rugby, skiing
and as well tennis. He attends St.John's High School and is a sophomore. He also plays at
Worcester's U-19 Spartans Rugby Team. He likes to listen to music of all kinds. And he loves
going to camp to see the smiles on kid's faces knowing it was a good day for them.
Rachael Armenti is going on her fifth year at Camp. She attends Worcester State College
majoring in nursing. In college, she plays soccer and enjoys hanging out with her super cool
friends. She is so excited about camp this year and can't wait for the fun to start.
Laurel Banach is going to be a Senior at Shrewsbury High School. She plays Volleyball,
Lacrosse and she is on the ski team. She takes pride in her school work and loves to hang out
with friends. She has been coming to Camp Harrington for as long as she can remember and
cannot wait for another summer!
Jack Barry loves the summer and can’t wait for camp! He will be going into his Junior year at
Saint John’s high school. He is an active student who has been rowing on the crew team for
four seasons. I am also a part of the culinary club at school. I coach a Special Olympic
Gymnastic and Basketball team. My favorite sport is basketball and tries not to miss any Celtics
games! His favorite player is Rasheed Wallace play. Nothing is better than great summer nights
on the Cape according to jack and he can’t wait for summer to start.
Dan Bateman will be finishing his junior year at St. John's high school. He is an active Boy Scout
and avid rock, ice and mountain climber. He has been coming to camp Harrington since "Kiddie
camp" and has loved every minute here at camp! He can't wait to see everyone in the
summer!!!!!!
Jenn Bateman has been attending Camp Harrington ever since she was five years old. She
always looks forward to summer vacation and returning to camp! She is currently a freshman
at Wachusett High School and play on the soccer team. She can’t wait to see all the campers!
Lauren Berthiaume has been coming to Camp Harrington for many years and loves it. She is a
competitive swimmer and has been swimming for a team for a few years now. She also swims
for her high school Varsity swim team. She enjoys schools and looks forward to helping the
campers in their swim lessons and to have a good, fun time at Camp. Last year Lauren worked
closely with the inclusion campers and hopes to continue that in 2010.
Stephen Berthiaume is very excited for another year of working at Camp Harrington. He will be a
counselor this summer and loves to help children have a great summer.
Calum Bonazoli will be entering his second year as a Junior Counselor at Camp Harrington. He
will be a junior at St. John’s High School. He enjoys sports, hanging out with his friends, and
working at the Ecotarium. He likes animals and plans to study Zoology in college. His first year
working at camp was awesome and he is so excited for another great summer!
Kim Borg will be attending Smith College, where she plans to study Elementary Education. She
loves to play the viola, piano and cello as well as write poetry in her spare time. She is excited
for her first summer at Camp Harrington and can’t wait for it to begin.
Jess Braveman is ready for her third summer working at Camp Harrington. She has
attended Camp Harrington as a camper and has been coming to camp since Kiddie Camp. She
will be entering her Senior year at Algonquin Regional High School. She is on the Algonquin
Track Team and loves playing and listening to music. She plays both Clarinet and Saxophone in
her school band. She is looking forward to spending the summer at Camp!!!!!
Kelsey Brenner is a student at Saint Peter Marian High School. She has been dancing for twelve
years and taking gymnastics for eight. She loves listening to music, hanging out with her
friends, and spending time with her family. She has been going to Camp Harrington for two
summers now, and she can't wait to come back for another!
Andrew Briggs is ready for his first summer working at Camp Harrington but has been working
with the YMCA. He is a Boy Scout with a like of hands on activities and interest in computers. He
is also an avid biker and has done several 50 mile trips on the cape. He has just completed his
freshman year at Roger Williams University and plan on working towards a Major in History and
Education.
Richard Dwight Buxton III will be attending Framingham State College in the fall. He has been
coming to camp for many years and is now 20 years old. He is active and not afraid to jump into
mud, clean up cuts, or work with kids, (ha ha). He believes his purpose here at camp is to give
the children good times to look back on, even if that means he has to be made fun of for their
enjoyment. He loves playing soccer and being outdoors. He hopes to make campers’
experiences at camp, ones that last a lifetime.
Tanner Buxton has been attending Camp Harrington since he was a child.
He wishes to continue his Camp Harrington experience and give kids the chance to have a great
time at camp like he did. He enjoys playing soccer and other outdoor activities. He may not
come off as super camp spirited but really does love camp and is excited to do all of the things
that come along with being a Junior Counselor.
Dallas Cantlin is going on his second summer working as a lifeguard at camp. In the fall he will
be a Junior at St. Johns, where he plays on the soccer and lacrosse team. This will be his 11th
summer at camp and he can't wait for it to start!
Steph Cantlin is ready for her 7th summer working at camp and her 15th summer at camp! This
will be her second year as the Director of Leadership Programming. Next year she will be a
senior Nursing major at Simmons College. She can't wait to kick off another great summer!
This is Sarah Caissie’s 4th year working at Camp Harrington and she is very happy to be doing it
again. Sarah will be a Freshman in college next year and plans on going to Worcester State to
major in Early Childhood Education. Sarah is looking forward to another great summer gaining
good experience working with kids and having a wonderful and fun time! :)
Matt Carlson is 18 years old and has been a long time camper. He is a lifeguard at Camp. He
goes to Holy Name High School, located in Worcester, Massachusetts. He likes to play lacrosse
in the spring, go fishing in the summer and ski in the winter. He also likes riding his four-wheeler
all year long. He is a huge Red Sox fan and can’t wait for camp to start!
Jake Carreau is looking forward to this summer at camp. He will be a counselor this summer
and loves to play games with all the campers. He is very enthusiastic about camp.
Amy Concannon will be starting her first summer working at Camp Harrington. She will be a
sophomore at Simmons College in the fall. She has attended camps for most of her life and is
excited to start working at Camp Harrington.
This will be Cat Cote's 5th year at Camp Harrington and she can't wait! Cat will be a freshman at
Smith College in the fall, where she will be studying sociology and third world development. She
is very enthusiastic about the environment and the outdoors, and is thus excited to be Science
Director and Adventure Staff at camp this summer.
Maura Dalianis has been coming to Camp since she was 8, but this is her first year as a Junior
Counselor. Next year, she will be a sophomore at Wachusett High School. She loves dancing
and riding horses. She can’t wait to start Camp!!!
Dori Degon is starting her second year working at Camp Harrington. She is a junior at Abby Kelly
Foster Charter School. Dori loves playing sports and she has played softball for 12 years and
has been running cross country for 3 years now. She has volunteered at UMMHC in the
Radiology/ Mammography department as well. Dori loves to spend time with children and has
lived at home with her Mother who has been a foster Mother for most of her life. Since she has
helped and worked with many children throughout her life, she cannot wait to continue to help
and have a great summer at Camp.
Ryan Degon is beginning his first year at Camp Harrington. He loves to play outside and be
active. He is outgoing and ready to begin a summer of fun at camp.
Stephanie Delpapa is a counselor at camp this year and has been a camper at Camp Harrington
since she was five. She is a sophomore at Catholic University in Washington D.C. Stephanie is
very interested in any type of art. This includes drawing, dancing, and theater. She always loves
working with kids and finds it very humorous and always exciting, she is really looking forward
to another great summer with all the camp.
Cat DiCelie is going to be a sophomore at Assabet Valley Tech. She enjoys playing indoor and
outdoor soccer. Outside of school she likes being with my friends, reading and listening to
music. She has been coming to Camp Harrington since I was 6 years old! And she cannot wait
for another great summer!!
Michael DiCelie has been coming to camp since he was six years old. He is going to be a Junior
at Assabet Tech next year. He enjoys playing soccer and really loves the field games, archery
and high ropes at Camp. This will be his second year working at Camp Harrington as a Junior
counselor and cannot wait to start!
This marks Derek DuPont's fifth year working at Camp Harrington, a place that he has come to
recognize as a second home. Derek has just completed his freshman year at Tufts University,
where he plans on majoring in Chemistry and Economics. His favorite pastimes include playing
music on his school's radio station, playing video games, and ballroom dancing. Derek looks
forward to a fantabulous year at camp!
Brennan Elliott is a senior at St. John's High School in Shrewsbury. He plans on beginning a
career in Robotics, starting with college next year. Some of his favorite activities involve
computer programming and snowboarding. He is very enthusiastic about the music he listens
to. He is greatly look forward to my 10th year at Camp Harrington.
Rose Elliott goes to Algonquin Regional High School. She loves anything to do with art, outdoors,
and computers. She has been going to Camp Harrington since kiddie camp and I can't wait for
the upcoming summer to start!
George Foster is eighteen years old and will be working as a counselor this year a camp. He
just graduated from Algonquin Regional High School and is going to UMass Dartmouth this fall.
He loves camp and is looking forward to seeing everybody this year.
Cameron Gaskins is a Junior Counselor. He loves playing football and baseball. He goes to
West Boylston Middle High School and will be returning as a sophmore. He hopes to see you this
summer.
Zachary Adam Gittlen is a sophomore at Algonquin Regional High School. He has been going to
camp since he was a kid. He likes all sports and competition. He also likes to just have fun and
he is excited for a fun summer!
Dana Gingerelli is a long time camper at Camp Harrington and has worked as a Counselor for
four years. He loves to cook and is training to be a chef at Blackstone Valley Tech. Dana loves
camp and is very excited to come back to camp for a fun fourth year doing the culinary program
for camp.
Britt Golas is going to be a first year Junior Counselor. She goesto St. Peter Marian, and she
loves every minute of it. She played field hockey and lacrosse for my school. She enjoys art and
hopes she can help out at arts an crafts. She can't wait to go back to camp this summer!!!
Myles Greenough is going on his third year working at camp. He has been a
camper here for many years. He is a junior at St. Johns High School and just recently attended a
community service trip to New Orleans this year. He is also a Frisbee addict. And he’ll see you
at camp.
Shannon Grieve is ready for her first summer at Camp Harrington. She is super excited! She is a
freshman in high school and loves to be around friends and family. She loves playing sports
especially soccer and basketball but she is always up for playing something new. She loves it
when she can make a kid laugh and she hopes to be doing that all summer. She can't wait! =)
Elizabeth Hackett will be returning to Camp Harrington this summer to work. She loves helping
the campers with their arts and crafts projects and loves to sing! Liz is looking forward to a
great summer.
Emily Hammerstrom has just finished her freshman year at Notre Dame Academy where she
was on the field hockey and ski teams. This is her first summer working at camp, but she has
been going to camp for years. She can't wait to see everyone this summer!
This is Katie Hammerstrom’s fourth year as a Counselor but she has been going to camp for
about thirteen years now. She has just completed her senior year at West Boylston High School
and plans to attend UMass Lowell to study physical therapy in the fall. She has been actively
involved in organizations around her school. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer,
snowboarding, and hanging out with her friends. Katie is looking forward to having an amazing
summer at camp.
Katie Hansen has just finished up her freshman year at Umass Amherst where she is studying
Communications and education. She has been going to YMCA camps since she was 7 and is
very excited to be returning for her fifth summer as a staff member. She cannot wait for the
summer to begin and to make new memories and have a ton of fun at camp!
Will Hansen has been going to camp since he was 6 years old. He loves sports and is going to
be a sophomore at to Doherty High School where he plays Football and Track. He is excited for
this summer and hope it will be great!
Erin Haynes will be coming back for her 12th summer here at Camp Harrington. This is her
second year as a counselor and she cannot wait. In the fall she will be going into her senior year
at Quabbin High School. She loves to play soccer, tennis and run track. In her free time she likes
to hang out with her friends and cannot wait for another awesome summer at Camp!
Sean Heeley is going to be a junior at Wachusett High School. He plays Ice Hockey year round
and loves it. This will be his second year working at Camp Harrington. He has been at camp for 7
years and loves every minute of it. He is a certified Red Cross Lifeguard and looking forward to
working with the kids at the waterfront this summer.
Kate Hennigan is ready for her third summer working at Camp Harrington. She has been
attending camp ever since she was a kid and loves it. She is seventeen and will be entering her
senior year at Burncoat High School. She is a music magnet at school, and loves to play the
violin and the guitar. She is also a member of the robotics team and loves to be outside and
meet new people.
Ashley Horack is beginning her 3rd summer working here at Camp. She has been coming to
camp here since she was a kid and loves it. She is going to be a Senior at Auburn High School
and in her free time likes to hang out with her friends and play soccer. Ashley is looking forward
to another great summer with lots of sun and fun!
Patrick Hunter is entering his junior year at Wachusett Regional High
School. He has been a camper at Camp Harrington since he was six years old. He loves playing
sports, especially soccer, and just being active. He hopes to have a great summer and can’t

Kristen Karpowicz is so excited for another summer of being a counselor here at camp. She
loves to swim and play games with the kids! She is very enthusiastic about camp.
Lauren Karpowicz is a nineteen year old education major at Fitchburg State College. This will be
her first summer at Camp Harrington and she is excited to be a part of the inclusion staff this
summer!
Tia Karpowicz will be going into her second summer at Camp Harrington. After her first summer
at camp she really loved it and couldn’t wait to return! She loves being outdoors and seeing
smiles on all the campers faces. This year at camp she will be returning to my one-on-one
position and start as a Counselor. She is looking forward to a great summer!
Amanda Keohane has been going to camp since she can remember and this is going to be her
first year as a junior counselor. She currently goes to school at Monty Tech and is doing great.
She aspires to be a baker when she gets older and does anything with photography on the side.
She loves to laugh, play and enjoy nature! She loves going to camp and can't wait to get started!
Ross Lapetina is going into his sixth summer working at YMCA Camp Harrington. He is going to
be a junior at UMass Amherst this year. He is an undecided communications major. Music is his
life. He plays three instruments and go to many concerts every year. He also will take any
opportunity to go outside, whether it’s to go for a hike, play frisbee, or watch the clouds go by.
He loves working at this camp and is looking forward to more great experiences this year. This
is his first year as the leader director and he is excited for his new role.
Annamarie Lapriore is a freshman at Shrewsbury High School. She is a part of the Dance Team
and Animal Rights Club. She loves to dance and hang out with her friends as much as possible.
She has gone to Camp Harrington for the past 2 years and this will be her third year attending
but first year as a Junior Counselor. She is very excited to see what is in store for her this
summer.
Taylor Leonard is 17 years old and will be a senior at Algonquin High
School. This will be her fourth year working at Camp Harrington. She has grown up at camp
and she is excited to be working at camp again this summer. She enjoys everything under the
sun and loves hanging out with all the campers. She has experience working with kids with
special needs. She has a great time participating in many activities at camp like swimming, art
and field games.
Hillary Mailly will be going into her fourth year working at camp but has been going to camp
since she was a kid. She is 18 and will be a freshman at Northeastern University as a Nursing
major. She is excited for school to be done and can’t wait for camp to start and see what kind of
fun it offers this summer.
Drew Ashley Maxwell is a freshman at Algonquin Regional High School. She has a passion for
helping disabled children and actively volunteers for the Special Olympics. She is a Special
Olympics coach in track and field, followed by gymnastics and skiing. Through my Hebrew
school she helped launch a program to help special needs kids learn about our Jewish heritage
without attending a traditional weekly class. She joined an after school program called Best
Buddies that is an inclusion program for high school student where she takes part in various
activities such as dances, movie nights and other average teenage activities. She is looking
forward to a great summer.
Brian McGahie is looking forward to his second summer working at the Camp waterfront, but
his years at Camp began long before he became a staff member. Ever since he was little, Camp
has represented learning values, making friends, and having fun... plus mastering many card
games! He loves being outside, swimming, running, learning, and especially laughing. He is
really excited for the summer, and can't wait to see everyone at Camp!
Kate McGahie has been coming to Camp since she was six years old. She loves running,
swimming, animals, making people laugh, and ice cream. This will be her 10th summer at
Camp, and can't wait to get started with what is sure to be a wonderful summer!
Ethel McGinn is a twelve year veteran of Camp Harrington. She will be going into her senior year
of high school at Notre Dame Academy. She is hoping to double major in college in Special
Education and Math. She can't wait for camp this year!!
Joey McIntyre is so excited about camp this summer. He has just turned 18 years old and has
completed his second year at the Burncoat Lifeskills Program. He cannot wait for another great
summer at Camp Harrington!
Brendan McManus is a freshman at Wachusett High School. He plays soccer, lacrosse, and
runs track as well as participating in the science fair. He has been coming to camp for many
years and is looking forward to another fun summer of camp and he hopes to see you there.
This will be Catherine McManus’s twelfth year at camp. She will be a senior this year at
Wachusett Regional High School. She plays lacrosse in the spring and skis a lot in the winter.

Nicholas Monfreda is ready for a summer at camp. He prefers to go by the name Nick. He likes
to play baseball and football. He is 15 and attends Leicester High School. Nick is looking forward
to meeting new friends and trying new things.
Bethany Morrill has been coming to camp since she was 7 years old. This will be her 8th
summer working at Camp Harrington and her 2nd summer working in the office. She just
graduated from Worcester State College with a degree in Elementary Education and English and
in her free time she likes to read and be outdoors. She is really looking forward to another

Jess Morrill is ready to start her fifth summer working at camp! She has been coming to camp
since she was a kid and loves it. She loves the theatre and loves to sing the camp songs at
opening and closing. She will be going into her sophomore year at Umass Dartmouth and cannot
wait for summer!

Tyler O'Day is ready for his first year as aJunior Counselor but 5 year veteran of camp. He is a
Freshman at West Boylston High School. He loves playing football, baseball, and basketball. He

Nicole Olson and has been going to Camp Harrington for a long time. She attends Shrewsbury
High School. She is on the swim team and participates in the school musicals and is in the
school's band. She love music and playing video games. This will be her first summer working

Megan O'Malley is going to be at senior at Stonehill College where she is studying English
literature and education. This will be her third summer as a counselor at Camp Harrington. She

Brian Owaka loves to kayaking, video games and working with the campers at Camp
Harrington. He loves to play soccer and rugby and cannot wait for summer. He attends Holy
name Junior/Senior High School is beginning his second year of work at Camp.
Christine Pellerin is going on her 7th summer working at camp. She is a long time veteran of
camp and has been coming here since she was 5. This coming year she will be a senior at
Wheelock College, where she is majoring in Special Education and Communications and is the
captain of the soccer team. In her spare time she loves hanging out with her friends, playing
soccer, and being outside. She is really excited about camp this summer and can’t wait for the
fun to begin!!
Meg Penney will be returning to Camp Harrington in ’10 working for her third year as a
lifeguard. She is attending Tahanto and has finished her junior year in high school. She is
on the swim team and participated on her school’s varsity softball team. In her spare time she
loves listening to the music and reading. She is excited to be returning to camp and hopes that
this year is as much fun as the previous years.
Casey Petrone is going into her sophomore year of high school. She has been coming to camp
since kiddie camp. She loves music, playing softball, and hanging out with friends.
Stephanie Polito is 17 and has been going to Camp Harrington since she was 10. She loves
going to camp and seeing her friends as well as playing with campers. She can't wait to work
there again this summer.

Jose Rodriguez has been coming to Camp Harrington since he was a child. He is going on his

Gwen Saffran is going to be a sophomore at Algonquin Regional High School. She has been
coming to camp since she was six. She love gymnastics and cats and she is looking forward to
my first summer working at camp.
Maia Selkow will be returning for her third summer at Camp Harrington! She just completed her
freshman year at St. Olaf College where she is majoring in Social Work. She loves being
outdoors and being at Camp! She cannot wait to see what camp season 2010 will bring!
Christine Sgueglia attends Algonquin High School and she play girls Rugby. She has been going
to camp since she was in 3rd grade, and her favorite camp activities are low ropes and high
ropes. She is excited for a great summer ahead!
This is Paige Shea’s third year being a counselor and her eleventh year at camp Harrington. She
has risen the ranks from camper to counselor and recently graduated as a senior from
Shrewsbury High School. She looks forward to attending UMASS Amherst in the fall as a
freshman. She cannot wait to go back, see familiar faces and have fun with the campers every
day!!
Hannah Shepherd is ready for her first year of being a junior counselor. She will be a sophomore
at Wachusett. She likes to hang out with her friends and meet new people. She can't wait to
start at Camp Harrington!
Paul St.Pierre is ready for his first year as a JC. He really enjoyed being a Leader last year and
wants to learn more as a Junior Counselor. He is a freshman at St.John's High School and
loves most sports. His favorite thing to do at camp is to teach the kids sports that include
teamwork but most importantly teach them to have fun while playing!
Ryan Sullivan is ready for his second summer at Camp Harrington. He had a great time last year
and is looking forward to another summer. He works at the Greendale YMCA teen center during
the school year and teaches some art classes there also. He thinks of himself as a jack of all
trades is sure you’ll see him all over camp.
Courtney Sutherland is going to be a sophomore at Holy Name Jr/Sr High School. She is on the
varsity Field Hockey team at school. She loves to play sports, and does so whenever she gets
the chance to. She has been at camp ever since she was 7 years old, and is looking forward to
another fun year at camp!
Lauren Trapasso will be a Senior at Assumption College. She is majoring in Sociology and
Philosophy with a concentration in criminology. This will be her 7th summer at camp and is
excited for her new job! In her spare time she loves hanging out with friends and doing yoga.

Harrington since the 3rd grade and loves it here. In her spare time she is usually hanging out
with her friends and constantly going outside. She has completed a year at UMass Amherst and
is taking the next year off to work. She is excited for another amazing summer at camp and can’

Elyssa Williams is ready for her 9th summer at Camp Harrington and 3nd
summer as a Counselor. She loves hanging out with friends, going to the beach, traveling, and
shopping. She also likes to keep busy with lots of clubs, activities, and sports. Summer 2010's
almost here, can’t wait! :)
Griffin Waitkus will be returning to camp for his 9th year at Camp Harrington, and first year as a
staff memnber. He attends Saint Peter Marian High School. He is very excited to finally be able
to work at camp. He enjoys playing baseball and having a good time
TJ Walden is a Junior at Whitinsville Christian School. He loves outdoor activities and is an
Eagle Scout. This is his first year at Camp Harrington and he is looking forward to having lots of
fun with the campers.
Sheyenne Wales is beginning her first year at Camp Harrington. She is going into her
sophomore year at St. Peter- Marian High School. At school, she swims and plays basketball.
She has spent her childhood at the Greendale YMCA and cannot wait to continue to work and
grow at YMCA Camp Harrington.
This is going to be Mark Wild's fourth summer working at Camp Harrington. Mark enjoys
swimming competitively for a local recreation team as well as a national team. He plans to
study Biology next year at Fordham. He hopes to have as much and more fun this year at camp,
as he did last year.
This will be Chris Wild’s seventh summer at camp. He is currently attending Emmanuel College
in Boston where he is studying Business Management. In his spare time he likes to run, hangout
with his friends and sing when no one is listening. He looks forward to returning to camp
because, in his opinion, it is the best place on earth.
Jose Yarzebski is ready for his third year working at Camp Harrington. He is looking forward to
an awesome summer with the campers. He is entering junior year at St. John's high school. He
is on the JV soccer team and loves playing sports and listening to music. He is looking forward
to playing games and sharing laughs with the kids this year.
Sean Zuromsky is going to be a second year junior counselor this summer but has been a
camper and a leader at camp since he was seven. Sean currently attends Holy Name Jr./Sr.
High School where he plays football in the fall and is an Eagle Scout. He is certified in CPR,
works with Special Olympics every year and loves Buffalo Chicken Broccoli and Bacon Pizza.
