Hello. My name is Rachael Armenti and this will be my fourth year at Camp. Next year, I will be
entering my junior year of college majoring in nursing. In college, I play soccer and enjoy
hanging out with my friends. I'm super excited about camp this year and can't wait for the fun to
start.
My name's Laurel Banach. I am going to be a junior at Shrewsbury High School. I play volleyball,
lacrosse and am on the ski team. I take pride in my school work and love being with my friends.
I've been coming to Camp Harrington for as long as I can remember and still love it. I can't wait
till this summer!
My name is Jack Barry. I do a lot of activities. My passion is basketball along with also playing
golf, and rowing. I love playing my trombone and listening to music. I don’t listen to one category,
but as long as it gets my foot tapping I like it. I attend Saint Johns High School. My greatest goal
is to show people who I am have fun all day long. I am always thinking positive and have a great
sense of humor. The perfect day for me is when everyone goes home with a smile on their face,
I would call that a good day.
My name is Marissa Barrett and this is my third summer at Camp Harrington! I recently finished
my Masters in School Guidance Counseling. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and going to the
beach. I hope that this summer is filled with tons of sun!!
My name is Dan Bateman and I am a sophmore at St. John's high school. I am an active Boy
Scout and a frequent mountain climber. I have been coming to camp Harrington since "Kiddie
camp" and have loved every minute here! I can't wait to see everyone in the summer!!!!!!
Michelle Belanger just completed her junior year at Endicott College as an Interior Design major
and returned from a semester abroad in Italy.
This is Michelle’s sixth summer working at camp all though she has been attending camp for
several years. For two years Michelle has been working as the Arts and Crafts Director. She will
be returning as a Senior Counselor this summer. Michelle can’t wait for the summer to start
and is excited for more great camp memories.
Hi my name is Lauren Berthiaume. I have been coming to Camp Harrington for many years and
love it. I am a competitive swimmer and have been swimming for a team for a few years now. I
also swim for my school swim team. I enjoy school and I am doing very well so far. I look
forward to helping the kids in swim lessons or at least be in the water having a good time.
Steven Berthiaume is working at camp for his first time ever. He is 17 and goes to Worcester
Voc. He loves everything camp has to offer, especially climbing the rock wall and high ropes and
going swimming. He used to come to camp when he was little but hasn’t been to camp for a
while and is really excited to be getting the chance to work here.
Hi I'm Steph Bolduc, and this will be my 4th summer working at Camp Harrington! I love being
involved with the inclusion program here at camp, it's very rewarding. I will be a senior at Eagle
Hill School in the fall. Art is my life!
Hi! My name is Calum Bonazoli. This is my first year as a Junior Counselor at Camp Harrington,
however I have spent several years there as a camper. I will be a Sophomore at St. John’s High
School. I enjoy sports, video games, hanging out with friends, and working at the Ecotarium in
the Naturalist Program. I like animals and plan to study Zoology in college.
Hi! My name is Jess Braveman and this is my second summer working at Camp Harrington. I
attended Camp Harrington as a camper and have been coming since Kiddie Camp. I will be
entering my junior year at Algonquin Regional High School. I was on the Algonquin Track team
and I love playing and listening to music. I play both Clarinet and Saxophone in my school band. I
am looking forward to spending the summer at Camp!!!!!
Hi my name is Richard Dwight Buxton the third. I have been coming to camp for many years,
ever since I was a camper. I am 19 years old. I am active and not afraid to jump into mud, clean
up cuts, or work with kids, (ha ha). I believe my purpose here at camp is to give the children
good times to look back on, even if that means I have to be made fun of for their enjoyment. I
love playing soccer and being outdoors. I hope I make your summer an experience that lasts a
life time.
Hello my name is Tanner Buxton. I have been attending Camp Harrington since I was just a child.
I wish to continue my Camp Harrington experience and give kids the chance to have a great
time at camp like I did. I enjoy playing soccer and other outdoor activities. I may not come off as
super camp spirited but I really do love camp and am excited to do all of the things that come
with being a Junior Counselor.
This is Sarah Caissie’s 3rd year working at Camp Harrington and she is very happy to be doing it
again. Sarah will be a Senior in high school next year and after high school she plans on going to
college to major in something amazing (TBD...). Sarah is looking forward to another great
summer gaining good experience working with kids and having a wonderful and fun time.
Hi! My name is Dallas Cantlin. I am going to be a Sophomore at St. John’s High School, where I
play on both the soccer and lacrosse teams. I love to watch TV and play my Wii. I have been
going to camp for as long as I can remember and I am very excited to get to work as a Junior
Counselor/ Life Guard this summer!!
This will be Steph Cantlins 6th summer working at camp. She has been going to camp every
summer for the past 14 years. She is a junior Nursing major at Simmons College where she has
complete 2 clinical rotations at North End Rehab and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
She is looking forward to her new position at camp and can't wait for summer to start.
I am Matt Carlson. I am 17 years old and have been a long time camper. I was an LDP two years
in a row. I go to Holy Name High School located in Worcester Ma. I like to play lacrosse in the
spring, fish in the summer and ski in the winter. I also like riding my four-wheeler all year long. I
am also a huge Red Sox fan. And I can’t wait for camp to start!
My name is Jess Carpenter and this will be my second summer at Camp Harrington. I will be
working as Leader Director this summer. I will be going into my senior year at UMass Dartmouth
where I study Chemistry. In my spare time I like to run, rock climb and hike. I am excited for this
summer at camp!
This is Thomas Ciarlante’s first year as a Junior Counselor and he is looking forward to helping
out at camp. He attends St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury and is looking forward to
completing his first year there. He has played soccer for over seven years and still enjoys it. He
is also experienced in archery, swimming, canoeing, music and even has a little rock climbing
experience. He has played the piano and has recently picked up guitar.
Hello everyone! My name is Kelly Clougherty and this will be my first Summer at Camp
Harrington. I enjoy kayaking, love to play video games, enjoy working with young kids, Love

This will be Cat Cote's 4th year at Camp Harrington and she can't wait! Cat will be a Senior at St.
Peter-Marian in the fall, where she is involved with the drama department, Math Team, the
newspaper, and more. She is very enthusiastic about the enviroment and the outdoors, and is
thus excited about her new position as Archery/Science/Nature Director.
Hi my name is Dori Degon and this is my first year working at camp Harrington. I am a
sophomore at Abby Kelley Foster Charter School. I love to play sports, I have done softball for 11
years and cross-country for 3 years. I also have volunteered at UMMHC in Radiology. I love to
spend time with kids. My mother has done foster care for most of my life and we have had lots
of kids come in and out of our lives and I have been a big help with all of them and have learned
a lot. I can't wait to meet all the kids at Camp Harrington.
Stephanie Delpapa is a counselor at camp this year and has been a camper at Camp Harrington
since she was five. She graduated from Pomfret School in Connecticut and will be attending
Catholic University in the fall. Stephanie is very interested in any type of art. This includes
drawing, dancing, and theater. She always loves working with kids and finds it very humorous
and always exciting, she is really looking forward to another great summer with all the campers.
My name is Michael DiCelie. I have been coming to Camp Harrington since I was 6 years old. I
am going to be a sophomore at Assabet Tech next year. I enjoy playing soccer and I really like
all the field games, archery and high ropes at camp. This is my first year as a Jr. Counsellor and
I can't wait to start!
This is Mat Dufresne’s third year working at camp. He will be a Junior at UMass Lowell,
majoring in Civil Engineering. He is an Eagle Scout and an adult leader in his local Boy Scout
Troop. He enjoys playing his bass guitar and playing just about any sport, especially soccer.
Derek DuPont will be returning to Camp Harrington in '09, making this his fourth consecutive
summer working there (though he began as a camper). Derek, a recent graduate from St.
John's High School, will be attending Tufts University this fall, where he plans to study
economics and chemistry. Outside of academics, Derek is varied character, being an Eagle
Scout, a rower, a clarinet player, an avid video gamer, and a Sci-Fi fan. May the Force be with
you!
Kevan DuPont is going to be either a Junior Counselor II this year at camp. He's 16 years old and
he's been a camper for several years. Kevan's a sophomore at Tahanto Regional High School
and he runs track and cross-country for sports. Also in the winter Kevan enjoys skiing at Mt.
Wachusett. He loves camp and can't wait to be there in the summer.
My name is Brennan Elliott, I am a junior, becoming a senior at St. John's High School in
Shrewsbury. Some of my favorite activities involve computer programming, snowboarding, and I
am very enthusiastic about the music I listen to. I also greatly look forward to what is, I believe,
my 9th year at Camp Harrington.
This is Megan Foley’s second year being a junior counselor. She just finished her sophmore
year at Willow Hill School. Megan enjoys dance including tap, jazz, and ballet. She also
volunteers with the Special Olympics gymnastics team. Megan has spent her summers at
Camp Harrington for many years, and always enjoys returning there each summer.
My name is George Foster and I am seventeen, and I will be working on the beach this year, I
attend Algonquin regional high school and finished as a junior this year. I love working on the
beach and playing with the children. I am not afraid to get buried in the sand, and I look forward
to seeing everybody this year.
Dana Gingerelli is a long time camper at Camp Harrington and has worked as a Counselor for 3
years. He loves to cook and is training to be a chef at Blackstone Valley Tech. Dana loves camp
and is very excited to come back to camp for a fun third year.
Hello I am Myles Greenough and this will be my second year working at camp. I have also been a
camper here for many years. I am a sophomore at St. Johns High School and I was part of the
track team there. And I am also a frisbee addict. See you at camp.
Hi, my name is Elizabeth Hackett but friends and family call me Liz. I will be a senior this year at
Wachusett Regional High School where I am focusing on Child Study. I love music, dancing and
hanging out with friends. I am very excited about camp this summer and about making new
friends!!!!
This is Katie Hammerstrom’s first year as a Counselor but she has been going to camp for
about twelve years. She has just completed her junior year at West Boylston High School. She
played goalie for the school's soccer team and was actively involved in organizations around
her school. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding, and hanging out with her
friends. Katie is looking forward to having an amazing summer at camp.
Hi! My name's Katie Hansen, I just graduated from Doherty High school this June and I will be
attending UMass Amherst in the fall to study education. This is my fourth summer working as a
Counselor at camp, and I went here for many years when I was younger. I'm really excited for
the summer and new memories of camp.
My name is Erin Haynes. This will be my 11th year at Camp Harrington and my second year as a
Junior Counselor. In the fall, I will be a junior at Quabbin High School. I love to play soccer, tennis
and run track. In my free time I love to hang out with my friends. I can't wait to be at camp again

Hi my name is Sean Heeley. I am a Sophomore at Wachusett High School. I play Ice Hockey year
round and love it. This will be my first year working for Steve Lockney. I have been at camp for 7
years and love every minute of it. I am certified as a Red Cross Lifeguard, and looking forward to
working with kids at the waterfront this summer.
Hi, my name is Kate Hennigan. This summer will be my second year working at Camp
Harrington, although I was a camper for many years before that. I'm sixteen and will soon be
entering my junior year of high school at Burncoat High. At my school I am in the music magnet,
and I love to play the guitar and violin. I am also on the robotics team. I love to be outside and to
meet new people.
Hi, my name is Ashley Horak. This will be my second year working at
Camp Harrington. I have been attending camp here since I was very
young. After this summer I will be a junior at Auburn High School.
In my free time I enjoy being with my friends and playing soccer. I

My name is Emily Huges and I am going to be a Sophomore at Northeastern next year, majoring
in Speech Pathology and Audiology. I love the beach, being outdoors, laughing, and having fun.

Hello, my name is Hunter Jones, I will be a sophmore at a boarding school in CT next year. I have
been attending camp since I was very young. Every year I love to attend camp and meet new
people and make friends that will last a life time. I love to race cars for a hobby along with
playing softball and volleyball.
Hi my name is Kristen Karpowicz and this is my 2nd year of volunteering. One of my favorite
things about camp is archery that was a lot of fun. I loved doing the arts and crafts with the little
kids. I love the sunshine and all the camp songs!
My name is Tia Karpowicz and I’m a first year volunteer. I visited last year while my sister was
volunteering and decided I'd like to bring my love for art to camp to share with the campers. I’m
very excited for this new adventure and can’t wait for camp to start!
Hey there! My name is Josh LaBont. I am going to be a junior at Blackstone Valley Regional
Vocational Technical high school(go beavers).I have been a camper here since I was in 2nd
grade. I am the type of teenager that can act like an adult ,but I am really just a big kid. I like to
have fun with many of the old campers and I also enjoy making new camper friends every year. I
am also an actor. I have been in over 9 plays in my lifetime. One thing i do after school which
many people find interesting is aikido. Aikido is a martial art that uses defense instead of attack.
One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is to just sit in a big comfy chair and watch a
good movie. I can’t wait to come back this year and enjoy another great summer.
Hello, my name is Ross Lapetina and this is going to be my fifth summer working at YMCA Camp
Harrington. I am going to be a sophomore at Quinnipiac University and am majoring in Public
Relations. Music is my life. I play three instruments and go to many concerts every year. I also
will take any opportunity to go outside, whether it’s to go for a hike, play frisbee, or watch the
clouds go by. I love working at this camp and am looking forward to more great experiences
this year.
Hi my name is Taylor Leonard. I am 16 years old and going into my Junior year at Algonquin High
School. This will be my third year working at Camp Harrington. I have grown up at camp and
exited to be working there this summer. I enjoy everything under the sun and love playing with
all the campers. I also have experience working with kids with special needs.
Steve Lockney will be returning for his 14th summer and 9th as Camp Director. Steve now lives
at Camp Harrington and is married (note: he met his wife at Camp Harrington back in 1993) with
an amazing 3 year old daughter Alexis who LOVES the camp property and Liam the NEW
addition to the family at 3 months old this June. Steve is excited about the progress of the camp
program this year with the new activities planned for Family Night (smores making and
scavenger hunts) he hopes everyone has a GREAT summer!
Dylan Ludy is going to be one of the Adventure Directors at camp this year yet again. He is going
to be a junior this coming year at the University of Vermont. In his spare time enjoys
longboarding, hiking and camping.
Hello. My name is Hillary Mailly and this will be my second year working at camp but I have gone
here since I was a kid. I am 17 and will be a senior in high school. I love to read, garden, play
tennis and go to camp! I can’t wait for camp to start and see what kind of fun it offers this

Hi my name is Shannon McFarland! This is my second year as the Arts and Craft director! Last
year we had a blast doing imaginative and often messy stuff. I love having a mix of favorite
familiar activities, and crazy surprises. I like doing almost anything outdoors, from running to
flying kites. I will be a junior majoring in journalism at Roosevelt University, in Chicago!
Hi! My name is Brian McGahie, and this summer will be my second summer working at the
Camp waterfront, but my years at Camp began long before I became a staff member. Ever
since I was little, Camp to me has represented learning values, making friends, and having fun...
plus mastering many card games! I love swimming, running, learning, and especially laughing. I
am really excited for the summer, and I can't wait to see everyone at Camp!
This will be Ethel McGinn’s eleventh year at Camp Harrington; however, it is her first year as a
member of the staff. Ethel attends Notre Dame Academy in Worcester and is going into her
Junior year. Last year, Ethel was the Captain of the Junior Varsity Field Hockey team at Notre
Dame Academy and also played on the softball team. After high school, Ethel plants to go to
college to major in Special Education (her dream job!) Ethel is very excited to be a member of
the staff this year and can no wait to see everyone again.
My name is Joey McIntyre. I am 17 years old and will be finishing my first year at Burncoat High
School. I am in the Life Skills program there. I enjoy swimming and new adventures and
especially playing with other kids.
This is Margo McLennan’s first year as a staff member but her ninth year at camp overall.
Margo recently completed her freshman year at Bancroft High School, where she is a member
of the Varsity Field Hockey, Ski, and Lacrosse teams. In her free team Margo loves swimming,
drawing, biking and hanging out with her friends. And she is really excited for camp this
summer!
This will be Catherine McManus’s eleventh year at camp. She will be a junior this year at
Wachusett Regional High School. She played lacrosse in the spring, and skis a lot in the winter.
She participated in the Science Fair, and got a second place at the state finals. Catherine loves
camp and can't wait to come back this summer.
Kayleigh Meton is going to be a Junior Counselor at camp this summer. She has just completed
her freshman year at Burncoat High School. At school she is an active member of the Orchestra
and String Orchestra. She is also a dancer for Charlotte Klien Dance Center. Kayleigh loves
camp and can’t wait to spend her days hanging out with the campers.
Hi my name is Matt Mitchell. This will be my first summer at camp and I will be working as a
Junior Counselor. I’m a very sporty person. I like football rugby, hockey and every other sport. I’
m an all A student and am going to be a Sophmore at Worcester Technical High School. I’m in
CYC, which is a church group and help out with them a lot especially in their summer program,
where I got a lot of experience working with children. I am also an assistant CCD teacher. I love
to work out, swim, run and hang out with family and friends. And I am excited to be working at
camp for the first time this summer!

another summer. I will be a senior at Worcester State College in the fall where i am majoring in
Elementary Education and English. I love being outdoors and can't wait to start another batch of

This will be my fourth summer as a staff member. I will be a freshman at Umass Dartmouth this

the kids and staff. I look foward to going to qcc and take classes in early childhood.
Rebecca Newman is a first year Junior Counselor this summer but has attended Camp
Harrington for 5 years. She will be a sophomore at Minuteman Regional High School in the fall
and is majoring in Enviornmental Technology. Rebecca enjoys playing a variety of different
sports and liked the outdoors. At camp Rebecca loves the Rockwall and the high ropes courses.

My name is Christine Pellerin and this will be my 6th summer working at camp. I am a long time
veteran of camp having been coming here since I was 5. This coming year I am going to be a
Junior at Wheelock College, where I am majoring in Special Education and Communications and
am a member of the soccer team. In my spare time I love hanging out with my friends, playing
soccer, and being outside. I am really excited about camp this summer and can’t wait for the
fun to begin!!
Meg Penney will be returning to Camp Harrington in ’09 working for her second year as a
lifeguard. She is attending Tahanto and has finished her sophomore year in high school. She is
on the swim team and participated on her school’s softball team. In her spare time she loves
listening to the music from rent. She is excited to be returning to camp and hopes that this year
goes well!
My name is Jacob Poirier. I just finished my freshman year at St. Johns High School. I really
want to go to Boston University when I graduate. I live in Rutland and have a sister named Carly. I
love to go camping and be outdoors. I really enjoy sports, especially hockey and baseball. I can’t
wait for camp and I am excited to be spending my first summer as a junior counselor.
Hi! My name is Stephanie Polito, I will be finishing my first year of high school in June. I like going
to camp to have fun and play games. My favorite thing to do at camp is Archery and swimming. I

Curtis Reid has been attending camp for the last 17 years and will be a senior next year at Clark
University where he is on the swim team. He is working as a 1:1 aid again this summer and
can't wait to come back and see all the familiar faces. He hopes everyone had a great school
year and that this summer at camp will be another great experience!
Beryl Rosenblum will be working as Junior Counselor this summer. She will be a high school
sophomore this fall. She has attended summer camps since preschool, both day camp and
sleep-away camp. She looks forward to sharing her fun- loving personality with Camp
Harrington campers this summer.
Hi! My name is Pablo Royo! I am going to be working as a Junior Counselor this summer. I was
born in Worcester on July 30, 1993, but both of my parents are from Argentina so I have been
brought up speaking Spanish. I play soccer and lacrosse and I attend Algonquin Regional High
School. I am excited to be working my first summer at camp.
Maia Selkow just completed her senior year of high school at Mass Academy and will be
attending St. Olaf College as a first year student in the fall. This will be her second summer
working at Camp Harrington, and she is really excited for all of the adventures and laughs it will
bring.
This is Paige Shea’s second year being a counselor and her tenth year at camp Harrington. She
has risen the ranks from camper to a counselor and currently attends Shrewsbury High School
as a junior. She enjoys skating, hanging out with her friends and singing. She cannot wait until
the summer to have fun with the campers every day!!
Hi, my name is Lauren Trapasso and this will be my 6th year back at Camp Harrington. I am now
the waterfront director after 4 years of lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at the Camp
Harrington waterfront. I will be starting my Junior year at Assumption College in the fall and I am
currently majoring in sociology and philosophy and I also have a concentration in criminology. I
love the summer time and cannot wait for another great summer at camp!
My name is Courtney Truex and this will be my second summer working at camp. I have been
coming to Camp Harrington since the 3rd grade and I just love it here. I also worked with the
schools out program this pas year and adored it. In the fall I will be attending Lycoming College
in Pennsylvania and will be double majoring in pre-med and psychology. Ion my spare time I am
usually hanging out with my friends and constantly going outside. I am excited for another
amazing summer at camp and can’t wait for it to begin!
Hi, My name is Benjamin Weltmer. I love almost any outdoors activity, but I enjoy any sport that
involves a ball, baseball, soccer, basketball, and many more. I attend a Charter school in
Marlborough called AMSA. I love biology and math. I also have many unique hobbies, such as
throwing cards and spinning pens. I really look forward to the opportunity of being a Junior
Counselor this summer.
This will be Chris Wilds’ sixth summer at camp and second year with the Leaders! He is
currently attending Emmanuel College in Boston where he is studying Business Management. In
his spare time, he likes to run, hangout with his friends and sing when no one is listening. He
looks forward to returning to camp because in his opinion it is the best place on earth.
This is going to be Mark Wilds third summer working at Camp Harrington. Mark enjoys
swimming recreationally and competitively for a USS club and his high school St. John's where

Hi! My name's Elyssa Williams and this will be my 8th summer at Camp Harrington and 2nd
summer as a Junior Counselor. I love meeting new people, going to the beach, traveling, and
playing my guitar. I also like to keep busy with lots of clubs, activities, and sports. Summer '09s

Hey! My name is Jose Yarzebski and this is my second year working at Camp Harrington and I
am looking forward to an awesome summer with the campers. I am entering my sophomore
year at St. John's. Last year I was on the Freshman and JV soccer teams, I love playing sports
and listening to music. I am looking forward to playing games and sharing laughs with the kids
this year!
Sean Zuromsky is going to be a first year junior counselor this summer but has been a camper
and a leader at camp since he was seven. Sean currently attends Holy Name Jr/Sr High School
where he plays football in the fall and is a player on the Worcester U-19 Spartan Rugby Team.

Hello. My name is Rachael Armenti and this will be my fourth year at Camp. Next year, I will be
entering my junior year of college majoring in nursing. In college, I play soccer and enjoy
hanging out with my friends. I'm super excited about camp this year and can't wait for the fun to
start.
My name's Laurel Banach. I am going to be a junior at Shrewsbury High School. I play volleyball,
lacrosse and am on the ski team. I take pride in my school work and love being with my friends.
I've been coming to Camp Harrington for as long as I can remember and still love it. I can't wait

My name is Jack Barry. I do a lot of activities. My passion is basketball along with also playing
golf, and rowing. I love playing my trombone and listening to music. I don’t listen to one category,
but as long as it gets my foot tapping I like it. I attend Saint Johns High School. My greatest goal

My name is Marissa Barrett and this is my third summer at Camp Harrington! I recently finished

My name is Dan Bateman and I am a sophmore at St. John's high school. I am an active Boy
Scout and a frequent mountain climber. I have been coming to camp Harrington since "Kiddie

Michelle Belanger just completed her junior year at Endicott College as an Interior Design major
and returned from a semester abroad in Italy.
This is Michelle’s sixth summer working at camp all though she has been attending camp for
several years. For two years Michelle has been working as the Arts and Crafts Director. She will
be returning as a Senior Counselor this summer. Michelle can’t wait for the summer to start
and is excited for more great camp memories.
Hi my name is Lauren Berthiaume. I have been coming to Camp Harrington for many years and
love it. I am a competitive swimmer and have been swimming for a team for a few years now. I
also swim for my school swim team. I enjoy school and I am doing very well so far. I look
forward to helping the kids in swim lessons or at least be in the water having a good time.
Steven Berthiaume is working at camp for his first time ever. He is 17 and goes to Worcester
Voc. He loves everything camp has to offer, especially climbing the rock wall and high ropes and
going swimming. He used to come to camp when he was little but hasn’t been to camp for a
while and is really excited to be getting the chance to work here.
Hi I'm Steph Bolduc, and this will be my 4th summer working at Camp Harrington! I love being
involved with the inclusion program here at camp, it's very rewarding. I will be a senior at Eagle

however I have spent several years there as a camper. I will be a Sophomore at St. John’s High

Hi! My name is Jess Braveman and this is my second summer working at Camp Harrington. I
attended Camp Harrington as a camper and have been coming since Kiddie Camp. I will be
entering my junior year at Algonquin Regional High School. I was on the Algonquin Track team
and I love playing and listening to music. I play both Clarinet and Saxophone in my school band. I

Hi my name is Richard Dwight Buxton the third. I have been coming to camp for many years,
ever since I was a camper. I am 19 years old. I am active and not afraid to jump into mud, clean
up cuts, or work with kids, (ha ha). I believe my purpose here at camp is to give the children
good times to look back on, even if that means I have to be made fun of for their enjoyment. I
love playing soccer and being outdoors. I hope I make your summer an experience that lasts a

Hello my name is Tanner Buxton. I have been attending Camp Harrington since I was just a child.
I wish to continue my Camp Harrington experience and give kids the chance to have a great
time at camp like I did. I enjoy playing soccer and other outdoor activities. I may not come off as
super camp spirited but I really do love camp and am excited to do all of the things that come
with being a Junior Counselor.
This is Sarah Caissie’s 3rd year working at Camp Harrington and she is very happy to be doing it

Hi! My name is Dallas Cantlin. I am going to be a Sophomore at St. John’s High School, where I

This will be Steph Cantlins 6th summer working at camp. She has been going to camp every
summer for the past 14 years. She is a junior Nursing major at Simmons College where she has
complete 2 clinical rotations at North End Rehab and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

I am Matt Carlson. I am 17 years old and have been a long time camper. I was an LDP two years
in a row. I go to Holy Name High School located in Worcester Ma. I like to play lacrosse in the
spring, fish in the summer and ski in the winter. I also like riding my four-wheeler all year long. I
am also a huge Red Sox fan. And I can’t wait for camp to start!

This is Thomas Ciarlante’s first year as a Junior Counselor and he is looking forward to helping
out at camp. He attends St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury and is looking forward to
completing his first year there. He has played soccer for over seven years and still enjoys it. He
is also experienced in archery, swimming, canoeing, music and even has a little rock climbing

This will be Cat Cote's 4th year at Camp Harrington and she can't wait! Cat will be a Senior at St.
Peter-Marian in the fall, where she is involved with the drama department, Math Team, the
newspaper, and more. She is very enthusiastic about the enviroment and the outdoors, and is
thus excited about her new position as Archery/Science/Nature Director.
Hi my name is Dori Degon and this is my first year working at camp Harrington. I am a
sophomore at Abby Kelley Foster Charter School. I love to play sports, I have done softball for 11
years and cross-country for 3 years. I also have volunteered at UMMHC in Radiology. I love to
spend time with kids. My mother has done foster care for most of my life and we have had lots
of kids come in and out of our lives and I have been a big help with all of them and have learned
a lot. I can't wait to meet all the kids at Camp Harrington.
Stephanie Delpapa is a counselor at camp this year and has been a camper at Camp Harrington
since she was five. She graduated from Pomfret School in Connecticut and will be attending
Catholic University in the fall. Stephanie is very interested in any type of art. This includes
drawing, dancing, and theater. She always loves working with kids and finds it very humorous
and always exciting, she is really looking forward to another great summer with all the campers.
My name is Michael DiCelie. I have been coming to Camp Harrington since I was 6 years old. I
am going to be a sophomore at Assabet Tech next year. I enjoy playing soccer and I really like
all the field games, archery and high ropes at camp. This is my first year as a Jr. Counsellor and
I can't wait to start!
This is Mat Dufresne’s third year working at camp. He will be a Junior at UMass Lowell,
majoring in Civil Engineering. He is an Eagle Scout and an adult leader in his local Boy Scout
Troop. He enjoys playing his bass guitar and playing just about any sport, especially soccer.
Derek DuPont will be returning to Camp Harrington in '09, making this his fourth consecutive
summer working there (though he began as a camper). Derek, a recent graduate from St.
John's High School, will be attending Tufts University this fall, where he plans to study
economics and chemistry. Outside of academics, Derek is varied character, being an Eagle
Scout, a rower, a clarinet player, an avid video gamer, and a Sci-Fi fan. May the Force be with

Kevan DuPont is going to be either a Junior Counselor II this year at camp. He's 16 years old and
he's been a camper for several years. Kevan's a sophomore at Tahanto Regional High School
and he runs track and cross-country for sports. Also in the winter Kevan enjoys skiing at Mt.
Wachusett. He loves camp and can't wait to be there in the summer.
My name is Brennan Elliott, I am a junior, becoming a senior at St. John's High School in
Shrewsbury. Some of my favorite activities involve computer programming, snowboarding, and I
am very enthusiastic about the music I listen to. I also greatly look forward to what is, I believe,

This is Megan Foley’s second year being a junior counselor. She just finished her sophmore
year at Willow Hill School. Megan enjoys dance including tap, jazz, and ballet. She also
volunteers with the Special Olympics gymnastics team. Megan has spent her summers at
Camp Harrington for many years, and always enjoys returning there each summer.
My name is George Foster and I am seventeen, and I will be working on the beach this year, I
attend Algonquin regional high school and finished as a junior this year. I love working on the
beach and playing with the children. I am not afraid to get buried in the sand, and I look forward

Dana Gingerelli is a long time camper at Camp Harrington and has worked as a Counselor for 3
years. He loves to cook and is training to be a chef at Blackstone Valley Tech. Dana loves camp

camper here for many years. I am a sophomore at St. Johns High School and I was part of the

My name is Tia Karpowicz and I’m a first year volunteer. I visited last year while my sister was
volunteering and decided I'd like to bring my love for art to camp to share with the campers. I’m

Hey there! My name is Josh LaBont. I am going to be a junior at Blackstone Valley Regional
Vocational Technical high school(go beavers).I have been a camper here since I was in 2nd
grade. I am the type of teenager that can act like an adult ,but I am really just a big kid. I like to
have fun with many of the old campers and I also enjoy making new camper friends every year. I
am also an actor. I have been in over 9 plays in my lifetime. One thing i do after school which
many people find interesting is aikido. Aikido is a martial art that uses defense instead of attack.
One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is to just sit in a big comfy chair and watch a
good movie. I can’t wait to come back this year and enjoy another great summer.

Harrington. I am going to be a sophomore at Quinnipiac University and am majoring in Public
Relations. Music is my life. I play three instruments and go to many concerts every year. I also

Hi my name is Taylor Leonard. I am 16 years old and going into my Junior year at Algonquin High
School. This will be my third year working at Camp Harrington. I have grown up at camp and
exited to be working there this summer. I enjoy everything under the sun and love playing with

Steve Lockney will be returning for his 14th summer and 9th as Camp Director. Steve now lives
at Camp Harrington and is married (note: he met his wife at Camp Harrington back in 1993) with
an amazing 3 year old daughter Alexis who LOVES the camp property and Liam the NEW
addition to the family at 3 months old this June. Steve is excited about the progress of the camp
program this year with the new activities planned for Family Night (smores making and
scavenger hunts) he hopes everyone has a GREAT summer!
Dylan Ludy is going to be one of the Adventure Directors at camp this year yet again. He is going
to be a junior this coming year at the University of Vermont. In his spare time enjoys

This will be Ethel McGinn’s eleventh year at Camp Harrington; however, it is her first year as a
member of the staff. Ethel attends Notre Dame Academy in Worcester and is going into her
Junior year. Last year, Ethel was the Captain of the Junior Varsity Field Hockey team at Notre
Dame Academy and also played on the softball team. After high school, Ethel plants to go to
college to major in Special Education (her dream job!) Ethel is very excited to be a member of
the staff this year and can no wait to see everyone again.

Margo recently completed her freshman year at Bancroft High School, where she is a member
of the Varsity Field Hockey, Ski, and Lacrosse teams. In her free team Margo loves swimming,

This will be Catherine McManus’s eleventh year at camp. She will be a junior this year at
Wachusett Regional High School. She played lacrosse in the spring, and skis a lot in the winter.
She participated in the Science Fair, and got a second place at the state finals. Catherine loves

Hi! My name is Pablo Royo! I am going to be working as a Junior Counselor this summer. I was
born in Worcester on July 30, 1993, but both of my parents are from Argentina so I have been
brought up speaking Spanish. I play soccer and lacrosse and I attend Algonquin Regional High

Maia Selkow just completed her senior year of high school at Mass Academy and will be
attending St. Olaf College as a first year student in the fall. This will be her second summer

My name is Courtney Truex and this will be my second summer working at camp. I have been
coming to Camp Harrington since the 3rd grade and I just love it here. I also worked with the
schools out program this pas year and adored it. In the fall I will be attending Lycoming College
