Traditional times are 12-3pm Sat and Sun year round (we are flexible and able to accommodate most requests) Climbing Parties Type 1 – Climbing Tower Only If you choose to utilize only our climbing tower, your party will simulate rock climbing for their 2.5 hours of climbing time. The climbing wall at the Outdoor Center is a 3 sided rock wall that has varying levels of difficulty (views to the left). Your party would start with level 1 (our easiest side) and each child would climb between 1 and 2 times on this level to get acclimated to rock climbing. After the completion of level 1, the children would then move on to level 2 a straight vertical climb. After each child climbs level 2 the party will break for cake, ice cream, or lunch at our Pavilion located next to the climbing tower (depending on what you choose to do in your 30 minutes of non-climbing time). After the break, the children return and finish their day on level 3 (an overhang climb) and are then sent on their way home upon completion. Type 2 – Ropes Course Only If you choose to utilize only our ropes course party, your party will climb a series of elements suspended in trees anywhere from 5 feet to 40 feet off the ground. Your party here would start with our tall ships (a 5 to 30 foot suspended cargo net) to get acclimated to climbing. After 1 to 2 times climbing the tall ships, your party would move onto one of 3 elements (the pirates crossing, the horizontal ladder, or the two-line incline walk). All of these elements are centrally located and depending on which element is set up (our outdoor center is frequently used and the setup of our high course is changed every 2 weeks to allow for varying elements to be used/rested) will determine which element you will use. After completion of your second element, your party will break for cake, ice cream, or lunch at our Pavilion (depending on what you choose to do in your 30 minutes of non-climbing time). After the break, the children return and finish their day on our Leap of Faith. The Leap of Faith is a 25-foot platform that children climb to and then leap to grab a bandana. (see our high ropes page for elements to choose from) Type III – Climbing/Ropes Combination This type of party consists of Levels I & II of the climbing tower to start the day and the Leap of Faith (or another element of your choice)to end the party with your cake, ice cream, or lunch break at our Pavilion Camp Activities Parties We can also customize a 3 hour party (2.5 of activity and .5 hours for cake/ice cream/food/gifts) for you utilizing a variety of camp activities. Activities you could choose from would be: Lazer Tag Dance Dance Revolution Karaoke Climbing Tower (see above) High Ropes Course (click here for choices) Archery Canoeing Swimming Field Games (we have a variety of carnival games, a 6' playground ball, a 5' roll chamber, 3 parachutes, and all the field toys one could imagine) Adventure Games (click here for details) Crafts Make the party into an overnight in the lodge for only 50.00 more |
