| Camp Harrington Program Information |
An age appropriate, safe, and fun-filled day awaits each camper. The traditional day
camp program runs Mon-Fri, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (the 2/3 day program is 9-1:30pm or 11:
30-4pm). Each day is divided into structured activity periods. Campers stay with their
group and counselor throughout the day. The program includes:
All Children weekly have
science,field games,
recreational swim and
swim lessons,
volleyball, Adventure
Course climbing,
games, canoeing, arts
and crafts,
& choice periods:
Every Thursday is also Papa Ginos Pizza Lunch Thursday. YMCA Camp
Harrington sells Pizza, Chips, Drinks, and Desserts to children at camp and
all the proceeds go to benefit our Scholarship Fund!
*Camper Age Groups are for kids ages 5* - 13*
*=We will take 5 year olds if they turned 5 by 6/1/12 and we do accept 13 yr
old campers, but we do encourage many to be part of our leader program
Teens (13-14) may apply for the Leadership Program (application deadline
6/1/12) or Teens (15-16) may apply for the Junior Counselor program
(application deadline 5/15/12).

Extended Care
A childcare service before and/or after camp. The service is staffed,
unstructured and held at the Greendale YMCA or Camp Harrington, hours
are 7:30-9:00 am and 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

then will allow 60 minutes for parent questions and discussion.

at the camp. Staff will be available to give tours, lead camp activities, and

at the camp. Staff will be available to lead camp activities (face painting,
balloon animals, archery, canoeing, make a s'more, rock climbing, and
more!) and answer questions. A Pizza Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:
30pm or bring a dinner. The Night will be capped by a Special Event from
7:00-7:45pm. Don't miss the FUN!
